Several months ago, De Pere Baseball announced the launch of a two-phase capital campaign project. Phase one of the project consists of two brand new fields located at Scray Hill Park in Ledgeview.
Today, De Pere Baseball is excited to announce the name of the baseball complex will be known going forward as Mulva Family Fields!
Thanks to a generous donation from Jim and Miriam Mulva, we are on pace to break ground this fall and open our new fields for play in 2020!
Mr. Mulva is passionate about the game of baseball and played in our program several years ago. De Pere Baseball is incredibly thankful to the Mulva's for their support of our program and efforts to keep community baseball affordable and accessible to everyone in our community.
1. Does this mean we're done fundraising for the fields?
No, De Pere Baseball is still raising money to support Phase one of the project. Field naming rights (2), Dugout Sponsorships (4) and Scoreboard Sponsorships (2) are still available.
Another opportunity to support the project is available through Brick sales. Similar to the brick campaign at Lambeau Field, DP Baseball's brick campaign provides you an opportunity to support the project and show your support with a commemorative brick to be displayed at the plaza entrance to Mulva Family Fields. The order form is below!
2. What about other opportunities to donate?
The first brick campaign is now over. However, we plan to open up another brick campaign Spring 2020. Stay tuned!
3. What happened to Phase Two?
We've begun our fundraising efforts on the Indoor Facility. We will need to raise an additional $1M to make Phase Two a reality!
4. I have questions about this project. Who can I contact?
Please email Jonathan Webb at email@example.com and we will respond promptly
We are a community based program serving over 1,400 kids each year in the De Pere community. De Pere baseball is a non-profit organization focused on providing an affordable program so all kids get the opportunity to play.
We appeal to the masses through our recreational leagues and also offer competitive teams to keep kids in our community involved. We are proud to represent the innocence of youth baseball and the lifelong skills that are cultivated through teamwork, sportsman- ship and competition.
Thanks for your support!
