Pee Wee Programs – 1st & 2nd Grade

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Emphasis on having fun while further developing baseball and social skills.  Introduction of additional baseball rules and fundamentals using a game-based format.  Uses a pitching-machine set at a speed designed to give kids an introduction to a "pitched" baseball. This helps them develop their hand-eye coordination.  A little league-sized baseball is used for play. Outs are recorded.  There is only one Pee Wee program in the fall which runs from August through September. 

Summer season is as follows:

     • Minor League – This is the shorter season.  Runs from April through early June.

     • Major League – This is the longer season.  Runs from April through July.  There are two weekends of game
       play – the opening weekend (late May/early June) and the end-of-the-year league tournament (July).

For both leagues, games are played either Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu (you can choose which night fits your schedule)
